Introducción

Usa esta guía para calibrar los gatillos de la Steam Deck desde dentro de la SteamOS.

Valve recomienda realizar esta calibración de software después de instalar nuevos gatillos.

NOTA: Es posible que las calibraciones del gatillo y del joystick de Steam Deck no funcionen a partir de la versión 3.3 de SteamOS. Está previsto que la funcionalidad vuelva en una versión futura.

    • Si aún no estás en el modo escritorio, ve al Menú de Steam → Encendido y selecciona Cambiar a escritorio.

    • Si no tienes un teclado conectado a la Steam Deck, tendrás que usar el teclado en pantalla.

    • Presiona el botón Steam + X para habilitar el teclado en pantalla.

    • La calibración del gatillo se realiza dentro de una ventana de terminal, usando la consola de SteamOS, llamada Konsole.

    • En el menú Buscar, busca y abre Konsole.

    • Si es necesario, mueve la ventana de Konsole, para que el teclado en pantalla no la oculte.

    I just tried this and get "command not found". Is it possible they have changed access since any updates? Desperately wanting to fix this and don't feel taking SD apart is issue. It feels like a calibration problem.

    • Dentro de Konsole, escribe trigger_cal.

    • Alternativamente, escribe trig y luego presiona Tab para completar automáticamente.

    • Presiona Enter.

    • El software calibrará primero la posición de descanso no presionada de los gatillos.

    • Asegúrate de que ninguno de los gatillos esté presionado. Presiona Enter.

    • El software calibrará luego la posición completamente presionada de los gatillos.

    • Toca un área en blanco del escritorio, para mover el cursor fuera de la ventana de Konsole. Asegúrate de que Konsole no esté enfocado.

    • Presiona suavemente cada gatillo hasta que toque fondo.

    • No ejerzas demasiada fuerza o los gatillos podrían calibrarse incorrectamente.

    • Toca la ventana de Konsole para volver a enfocarla. Presiona Enter.

    • ¡Listo! Los gatillos ya están calibrados. El terminal debería poner "Calibración de gatillos exitosa".

Do you need to enable developer mode or download anything to get this working? All I get is 'command not found' when I try to run trigger_cal_v1_1.

all i get is :permission denied" anytime i try this, please update the guide

trigger_cal is located in /usr/bin/trigger_cal but is not executable. Here's what I did:
cp /usr/bin/trigger_cal ~/

chmod u+x

./trigger_cal

This is an incomplete guide when it doesn't explain the permission error when executing trigger_cal

I just wanted to say thank you for this! I received a Steam Deck today and the right trigger was registering as if it were being pressed all the way down when it wasn't being touched at all. I was going to look into opening the Steam Deck and taking a look but the Konsole command Trigger_cal saved the day! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Few days ago I dropped my deck and the Left trigger broke. I glued with crazy glue and everything was "working fine" except for Marvel's Spiderman which didn't detect when I press L2 button.

Finally got the issue solved with this guide, calibration was missing... So definitely after modifying triggers, recalibrate them.

Thanks a lot for this, however when I want to do the same recalibration with my left bumper button, it doesn't work. I use the command 'bumper_cal' and I find it's wrong. So I truly want to know what is the correct command with bumper calibration?
