    My windshield wipers were stuck on like they were welded. I removed them with channel lock pliers. I put the top jaw of the pliers and placed it under the wiper and the bottom claw of the pliers and put it on the mounting bolt. squeezed as hard as I could and Pop! It came loose.

one has to be careful with the rain tray. if you use too much pressure whil trying to get the wipers off, you will damage (crack) it.

there is a special tool for getting them off; this is a bit pricey.
