    I need to reset the phone because I've forgotten my password to unlock the phone after it's had an update. Unfortunately, I can't turn the phone off without the password so I'm stuck in limbo - do you have any suggestions?

Le 20 mars 2023, ma banque en ligne m'informe que je ne pourrai bientôt plus me connecter à défaut de mise à jour, pour des questions de sécurité. Impossible de mettre à jour, ces mises à jour n'existent plus ! Près de 400 euros le téléphone. On nous prend vraiment pour des demeurés.     • Use los botones Subir / Bajar volumen para la navegación y el botón de encendido para elegir.

    • Desde el menú de recuperación del sistema android, seleccione:

    • borrar datos / restablecimiento de fábrica

    • Si, elimina todos los datos del usuario

    • reiniciar sistema ahora

    This essentially bricked my phone! It was logged in with a deleted google account. This guide should say first remove all google accounts and remove screen locks, so it’s only swipe or no security; otherwise you are asked for security at startup. But for me, I can’t do anything about it since the account that was on the phone is now deleted.

Hey i did the second part because i couldn't open my phone everytime it says all apps stop working and even the system process stopped, i shut down my phone then pressed up volume, power and home button but i couldn't see anything its just all black

Just hold in the power button and release. I had to hold mine for a few seconds, then the second time I just pushed it quickly … could have been either time, but either way, it worked… after being stuck on the Samsung screen for almost an hour.

I work at a cell phone place.  I had a customer locked out of his phone because he forgot the pattern.  Holding volume up, power, and home button didn’t do anything at all.  Holding volume down, power and home button brought it to a custom OS screen that could potentially ruin your phone.  But the key is to get it to the Samsung logo startup screen in any way possible.

I got to the custom OS screen using the Volume Down, power and home

Then I hit volume down to cancel which leads it to the Samsung startup screen.

This is the important part.  there’s a brief second where the screen goes black before the Samsung logo appears. while the screen is completely black, hold down the Volume Up, Power, and Home button.  When the Samsung Galaxy A5 words all appear on the screen, let go of the power button but keep the other 2 pressed down.  This leads to the factory reset menu and the rest you know already :)

Warning ... MDM does not allow factoryReset. The phone will restart automatically.

I can not update via Odin because of the MDM.

Tried this and is saying unauthorized factory reset was attempted so sign in to wifi and to your Google account which I can't remember password also won't let me sign into wifi cause it says unauthorized factory reset was applied and can't bring up sign in what do I do
